Local Couple to be Honored This Month

Vera and Ted Edgar, long-standing pillars of faith in Seneca, are set to be honored in October. The couple, who felt a calling to minister in their teenage years and married in 1961, have led an inter-denominational fellowship at the Full Gospel Temple on Wells Highway for nearly six decades.

The Oconee Ministerial Association’s Rev. Wayne Morton announced that the Seneca City Council will present a proclamation to the Edgars at city hall on the evening of October 10. The following day, additional presentations will be made at an event hosted by Mountain View Funeral Home.

Ted Edgar, who for many years hosted a radio program on WSNW, Seneca, along with his wife Vera, will be recognized for their contributions to the community.
