Local Offices Closed Monday for Labor Day

The City of Seneca, Seneca Light and Water, and Oconee County Government Offices will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day. For your convenience, the Seneca Light & Water Plant Night Deposit will remain open 24 hours for Seneca Light & Water payments. In case of an emergency, please call 885–2723 for assistance. 

Additionally, all branches of the OCPL will be closed for Labor Day weekend from Saturday, September 4 through Monday, September 6. Book returns will be open during this time, and e-books (cloudLibrary) and magazines (Flipster) as well as streaming movies though Kanopy, will be available at the library website, oconeelibary.org.

Beginning Tuesday, September 7, the Walhalla and Seneca locations will open at 9:00 a.m. instead of 10:00 a.m. on weekdays. The hours for the Westminster and Salem locations will remain the same. The library is monitoring conditions for COVID in the community, and will open for more evening and weekend hours once it is safe to do so.
