Local Public Safety Workers Honored

At the 5th Annual Oconee County Public Safety Appreciation Luncheon held on September 25th, three Sheriff’s Office employees were honored: Sergeant Adam Logan, who was named the “Officer of the Year.” As a Violent Crimes Investigator, Sergeant Logan specializes in child sex crime and child sex abuse material investigations. Sergeant Amanda Davis, who received the “Correctional Officer of the Year” award. Sergeant Davis supervises the Detention Deputies on the Bravo Shift at the Oconee County Detention Center. Jennifer Lyles, a Senior Dispatcher on Delta Shift in the E-911/Communications Center, was honored as the “911 Telecommunicator of the Year.”
