In early 2023, detectives learned that Hall was living in Detroit, Michigan under an alias. They shared this information with U.S. Marshals, who tracked down Hall and arrested him on June 27.

Hall had deceived his own wife and children, who only knew him by his fake identity, according to the sheriff’s office. He is now in the Wayne County (MI) Detention Center, waiting to be extradited to the Upstate.
