Man Upstate Community Breakfast

A call is going out to men to end violence against women. Men of Upstate South Carolina are invited to a breakfast meeting on Nov. 14, from 8-9:30am at the Kroc Center in Greenville. Only about 15% of men are abusive towards women; nevertheless, 1 in 3 women will experience violence or abuse in her lifetime. At the free breakfast, attendees will hear keynote speaker, Tony Porter, from A CALL TO MEN, talking about how good men can be a part of the solution in preventing and ending violence against women. All interested community leaders, especially men, are invited to attend and learn how you can partner in your daily roles as business leaders, city/county officials, clergy, teachers, coaches, counselors, youth leaders, non-profit managers, fathers, husbands, neighbors and friends to end violence against women. Seating for the breakfast is limited, so register today at www.manupstate.org.
