MAN WANTED IN OCONEE COUNTY DIES FROM GUNSHOT WOUND

Anderson, SC – Greg Shore, Coroner advised that his office is currently investigating the death of a man that was apparently being sought by Oconee County Law Enforcement in connection to an outstanding warrant and was found last night with a gunshot wound.

Anderson Police Department, Anderson Fire Department and Medshore EMS responded to the Red Roof Inn at 3025 N. Main Street in Anderson, SC around 11:00 pm last night. The decedent was transported to AnMed Health and was pronounced dead at 11:19 pm. Josh Shore, Deputy Coroner has identified the victim as NOAH ELIJAH CLEVELAND, 25 years-old of West Union, SC. Mr. Cleveland died of a Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound and the case has been ruled a suicide.

The investigation is ongoing by the Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the Anderson Police Department.
