Mangers elected to Baseball Hall of Fame

Former managers Joe Torre, Tony La Russa and Bobby Cox were announced Monday as having been elected to baseball’s Hall of Fame, with each selected unanimously by the 16 voters on the expansion era committee. All three have more than 2,000 wins and they have a combined eight World Series titles between them: four for Torre, three for La Russa and one for Cox. Induction ceremonies will be held on July 27th in Cooperstown, New York.
