Mann Retains Chair of Oconee Republican Party

Jim Mann has successfully held onto the chair of the Oconee Republican Convention, following a closely contested ballot on Saturday. The county’s 241 Republican delegates were seated and considered qualified to fill the various offices of their county party for the upcoming year. Mann managed to secure a 75-vote margin over his challenger, Roel Cruz. Meanwhile, Rachel Moore was elected as vice chairman, defeating Karen Powell, while Terri Meyerring emerged victorious over Jane Chaney and Carl Reebenacker to become the county’s state executive committee person.
