Mayor excited to see interest in City Council

Six candidates are now campaigning for four open seats on the Seneca City Council. Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander is excited to see more people interested in serving on the city council. “It’s always good when someone shows that interest and they want to do it. I hope whoever runs in any government that they do it for the right reasons, that they want to see the community better and you appreciate the people that want to take the time and the interest to spend the amount of the time that they need to, to be able to do what needs to be done.” Incumbents Scott Durham, Denise Rozman, Joel Ward and Stuart Pohl and challengers Robert Holbrooks and W.C. Honeycutt Jr. square off in the March 13, municipal election.
