Mefleh Family Will Continue Late Father’s Legacy

Determined to “make their Daddy proud and continue his legacy”, the family of the late Westminster Councilman Yousef Mefleh announced on social media over the weekend that they will reopen Yousef’s Kitchen on Tuesday morning and resume business as normal as can be expected.

Mr. Mefleh passed away on August 20th from a cardiac related event.

In the social media post, Mr. Mefleh’s daughter, Meriam, thanked everyone for their  expressions of love and support, and for the generous donations made in Yousef’s memory to the Hall Street Park project.

She went on to write that the menu, employees, and hours will remain the same, with Sundays being the exception, and stated the restaurant would be open, but only the hot bar would be available.

The family’s statement concluded with a request for patience as they experience this time of transition.
