Meth Lab discovered during Traffic Stop

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man and a woman on drug charges after a shake and bake meth lab was discovered during a traffic stop because of routine road patrol operations.  Deputies arrested 39-year-old Brook Argo Gibson and 41-year-old Regina Leigh Mote and charged each with one count of manufacturing a quantity of methamphetamine.  An Oconee County Sheriff’s Office deputy initiated a traffic stop at approximately 1:15am Monday morning on a 1994 Toyota Camry in the 200 block of West Halfway Branch Road due to the fact that vehicle went left of center while making a right turn.
