Missing Seneca Woman found Safe

A missing Seneca is back safe at home. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office reported that 25-year-old Cori Nicole Jefferson (Cromer) was last seen by her mother on Aug. 10. The mother told deputies that she received reports that Cori had been spotted multiple times during the past couple of weeks and that she was aware that Cori was staying with a friend. The mother told deputies that she also received a text from Cori Sunday that did not make any sense. Deputies spoke to the friend that Cori’s mother mentioned and she told deputies she had not seen Cori for almost two weeks. Cori came home Tuesday evening to her mother.
