More Arrests in Operation Infinity Drug Sweep

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces three additional arrests in the seventh “Operation Infinity” drug sweep round up that began on Sept. 25. Officers from the Seneca, Walhalla and Westminster Police Departments are assisting the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office in the drug sweep operation. In all, 19 individuals were being sought on a variety of drug distribution charges. As part of this phase of “Operation Infinity,” four individuals were also being sought on warrants on charges of unlawful neglect of a child. The three additional arrests occurred between midnight Oct. 2 and midnight Oct. 12. In all, 21 suspects have been arrested so far and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks two more suspects.
