More Bus Drivers needed in OC Schools

The School District of Oconee County needs more bus drivers, explains Ernestine Williams, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. “We need bus drivers to get our kids to school. They can follow up on our website and talk with Sammy Grant, who is our director of transportation. He has information about the classes and the requirements. So we definitely do need more bus drivers.” In the School District of Oconee County, 91 buses travel over 7,582 miles to get students to and from school every day. The School District needs drivers as well as substitutes, so if anyone is interested go to the District’s website at www.oconee.k12.sc.us.
