Mud Run coming to Seneca in April

On April 23, 2016, a mud run takes place in Seneca to benefit an organization assisting veterans. The Mountain Lakes Convention and Visitors Bureau announces 100% of the mud run proceeds go to the When Life Sucks Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps veterans and their families heal and have better lives. “Did you know that an average of 20 veterans a day commit suicide? That number is unacceptable and there is a way you can help, by signing up for the When Life Sucks Mud Run. All proceeds will be utilized to help veterans with PTSD heal from trauma,” said Mountain Lakes Convention and Visitors Bureau President and CEO Ken Sloan. The 3.2-mile course features 47 obstacles including a cargo climb, balance beams, tunnels, walls, rope swing, mudslides and more. It takes place at the Shaver Recreation Complex in Seneca on April 23.
