Multiple Arrests Thursday in Oconee County

Several arrests were made in Oconee County yesterday, leaving suspects behind bars on a variety of charges.

Ann Marie Ballard

59 year-old Ann Marie Ballard of Seneca was charged by Sheriff’s Deputies with four counts of her third or subsequent offense for manufacturing, distributing and possession of LSD and cocaine, and her second offense for trafficking heroin.

Mark Evan Medlin

35 year-old Mark Evan Medlin of Westminster was charged by deputies with his second offense of schedule 1 and 2 narcotics;

Matthew Lee Thompson

Matthew Lee Thompson, age 42 of Seneca, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for trafficking meth and his third offense for manufacturing cocaine;

36 year-old Douglas Alan Singer of Westminster was arrested for violating the sex offender registry and for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Zackary Edwin Sterling Fiskeaux

And 34 year-old Zackary Edwin Sterling Fiskeaux of Mountain Rest was apprehended and charged with attempted murder in connection with a late January incident in which he allegedly shot at an Oconee County Deputy. He was arrested in February in Pickens County by SLED agents and denied bond due to violating orders he was under for house arrest. Custody of Fiskeaux was remanded to the SCDOC, and he spent three months in a state facility, then was transferred to Oconee County yesterday to face the charge from January.

All those suspects remain in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center pending bond and judicial proceedings.
