Multiple Traffic Violations for Walhalla Man

On Wednesday, Walhalla Police arrested 49 year-old Josue Gomez and charged him with no insurance or registration, use of license plates other than vehicle issued, driving under suspension, leaving the scene of an accident and unattended vehicle.

Police said Gomez told them he was unaware that he left his pick up truck in gear while he went inside a convenience store. The truck rolled across the street to AAA Bail Bonds and hit a car parked in their lot.

The owner of the struck vehicle was inside the bonding company at the time of the accident, according to police.

Gomez was booked into jail and released on bond.
