Multiple Weekend Arrests in Oconee County

According to jail records, on Sunday the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year-old Kevin Troy Moyers and charged him with four counts of pointing a firearm at a person. Bond was set at $60,000 and he remains in custody at this time.

On Friday, several arrests were made by area law enforcement agencies. Kristan Michelle Barnett, age 32, was charged with distribution of meth by Seneca Police. Her bond was set at $25,000 and she remains in jail at this time.

Seneca Police also arrested 60 year-old Stephen Ray Oliver on six general sessions bench warrants, as well as new charges of driving under suspension, possession of meth and distribution of meth. His bond was set at more than $30,00 on the new charges.

Walhalla Police arrested 43 year-old Shannon West on charges of distribution of meth, driving under suspension and failure to stop for blue lights. He remains jailed with a bond set at more than $50,000 on those charges, as well as being held for Clemson University Police.

And 51 year-old Leonard Franklin Smith was also arrested on Friday by Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies. He is charged with two counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor. A PR Bond was set at $20,000.
