Murder-suicide reported in Pendleton

Two people were found dead at a home in Pendleton as a result of a murder-suicide. Around 1:30pm Thursday afternoon, dispatch received a call reporting a shooting on West Queen Street in Pendleton. Upon arrival, deputies with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office discovered a man and woman dead inside the home. The Anderson County Coroner’s Office identified the couple as Angela and James Taylor. Evidence suggests the wife came home and was shot by her husband before he shot himself. Authorities said the couple had a long history of domestic problems. The investigation continues into the deaths.
