Murder Suspect Arrested in Anderson County

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a distress call on East Shockley Ferry Road around 2:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds, requiring immediate medical attention. The victim, identified as 47-year-old Reginald Boggs, had been shot by 20-year-old Brian Beatty-Martin using a semi-automatic handgun. Despite efforts to save him, the victim passed away on February 8 at AnMed Medical Center. Following the incident, Brian Beatty Martin was arrested and charged with murder. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of 43-year-old Sherri Moss and an unnamed 16-year-old boy, both also charged with murder. During a hearing on Friday, all three suspects were denied bond. The teenager’s identity remains undisclosed due to legal considerations.
