Murder Suspect sought by OC Sheriff’s Office

A murder suspect remains at large and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks help brining him to justice, explains Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt. “Dw’Ntraquis Rashaad Campbell was charged by the Sheriff’s Office back on March 9 with murder and three counts of attempted murder in the shooting at the former Sonny’s Bar and Grill on Wells Highway at Shiloh Road in Seneca. We issued a press release back on March 12 seeking the public help in trying to locate Mr. Campbell. So far through our efforts following up on leads and conducting an investigation, Mr. Campbell is still at large, so we felt like we needed to put out another release just to keep the information fresh in the public’s mind.” Campbell stands charged with murder in the shooting death of Anthony Letron Holden of Seneca. Campbell was also charged with three counts of attempted murder in the shooting of three other individuals and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Warrants and information on Campbell have been entered into the National Crime Information Center database, adds Watt. “Mr. Campbell is still at large. He does have outstanding warrants for murder and three counts of attempted murder. Mr. Campbell needs to be arrested. He needs to be brought back to Oconee County, if he is not here to stand and take responsibility for what he has done.” Campbell is considered armed and dangerous and anyone who encounters him should call 911 and report his location to authorities.
