Murphy Buys Former Hometown Building from City of Seneca

The Seneca Improvements Corporation Board met Tuesday and voted unanimously to sell the former Hometown Food Store building for $350,000 to Ray Murphy, owner of T & R Graphics.

Murphy plans to relocate from his current location on US Hwy 123 to the old grocery store. The building has been empty since Hometown closed it’s doors in 2015. The city bought the building in 2016 for $200,000, and replaced the roof at a cost of $90,000.
