National Weather Service surveying Anderson Damage

The National Weather Service is surveying the damage in Anderson County after unconfirmed reports a tornado touched down in two locations there on Sunday.  According to the National Weather Service, the first sighting was at 4:07pm and the second sighting was just after 4:30pm.  The National Weather Service is surveying the damage to determine if and what type of tornado may have touched down in the area. Most of the damage was reported in the area of Busby Road between Highway 187 and Dobbins Bridge Road and New Hope Road between Highway 24 and Dobbins Bridge Road.
