Negative Political Ads work says Clemson University Professor

In less than three months, South Carolina voters head to the polls to elect leaders and consider amendments. That means political advertisements will be more common between now and Nov. 4. Clemson University Political Science Professor Dr. Joseph Stewart anticipates more negative ads as we approach Election Day. “Everybody hates negative ads, you will hear people taking about how terrible it is that we have them and in every campaign we see them again because they work.” Dr. Stewart encourages voters to do some homework before heading to the polls on Nov. 4.
