New Downtown Seneca Restaurant May Be Open As Early As March 2020

(Seneca, SC)—–A new restaurant will be opening in downtown Seneca sometime early next year.

Mayberry’s, which will be moving from its current location at 405 College Avenue in Clemson, may be open as soon as March of next year, according to Kelli Reece.

The address where the main entrance will be located is 125 N. Townville Street with a store front that will also face East North First Street.

Kelli spoke to 94.1 The Lake last week and discussed the attraction of downtown Seneca and the reasons why Mayberry’s wanted to move here.

“When we first move down here, a couple of years ago, I loved the downtown area. It just wasn’t quite ready yet. It has great parking, It has great architecture,” according to Kelli. “And I think now, it’s at a point that it’s getting ready to really come together and be something cool.”

Kelli said that the building they are moving into has the original hardwood floors in it. The restaurant will have a private dining area for small group gatherings. Kelli said the restaurant will offer counter service with really simple and casual dining with homemade food made from scratch.

Dinner will be served starting at 5pm each evening and on the weekends, Mayberry’s plans to serve breakfast.

The operating hours are expected to be 11am until 8pm or 9pm Monday thru Thursday, 8am until 8pm or 9pm Friday and Saturday and Sunday’s from 8am until 3pm.
