New Home Development planned for Seneca

A zoning change received approval from the Seneca Planning Commission Tuesday night that helps a company begin a new home development between Old Salem Road and Lake Keowee. The R-15 zoning recommendation of 39-acres on the west side of Old Salem Road, 330 feet north of Loran Pointe Circle, now goes to city council for final approval. A Tennessee company is planning a gated community of single-family homes on lots requiring a minimum size of 15,000-square-feet.
