New Seneca Bus Stop nearing completion

Soon CAT Bus riders will have a new stop in downtown Seneca complete with restrooms and covered seating. Sherman Construction is nearing completion on the new amenities to the CAT Bus Stop on Railroad Street, explains Seneca Planning and Development director Ed Halbig. “They are installing the bathroom fixtures now. Obviously, they have finished doing the rock and they are doing more decorative work around it. We expect that it should be finished by September of this year.” Work began in March on the new restrooms and covered shelter for people to use while waiting on the CAT bus at the stop on Railroad Street in downtown Seneca. The project was delayed briefly while the crew waited on materials to arrive.
