New Seneca Hotel taking Shape

Progress is being made on the new 100-room hotel in the City of Seneca.  The elevators are in the new Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton and work is now clearly visible to motorists traveling along Highway 123.  Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander is excited about the new hotel opening on the south side of the city. “We are looking forward to the new hotel opening up.  The hotel is right on track and I think they are going to meet their goal, they want to be open in August.  They are putting the roof on it now, so it is all coming together.” The new hotel, on East North 1st Street in Seneca, will occupy a building of 61,660 square feet on about 2.2 acres. Construction on the hotel began in October.  Once completed, the Hampton Inn and Suites will employ 38 workers.
