Nikki Haley’s Visit to Clemson University

Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley visited her alma mater on Tuesday, Clemson University, where she serves on the Board of Trustees. She reminisced about her time at the university and expressed her fondness for the campus. Haley, who is running against former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, criticized both Trump and current Democratic incumbent Joe Biden. During her visit, Haley outlined several policy proposals she plans to implement if elected, with a focus on term limits for politicians. Before leaving, she joined in a chant with the Clemson Tiger fans. Haley, who has secured 17 delegates so far compared to Trump’s 63, needs a strong showing in the upcoming South Carolina primary after losses in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada. Early voting is open until Thursday, with the primary scheduled for Saturday.
