No Injuries in Motel Fire on Saturday

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, the City of Seneca Fire Fighters and box alarm companies responded to a fire at the Days Inn motel. Battalion 7, Engine 71, and Truck 2 were dispatched after reports of a commercial dryer fire inside the hotel. Upon arrival, Engine 71 found smoke on the first floor and Battalion 7 assumed command. The fire was confined to the dryer, and no injuries were reported.
