OC Chamber electing Board of Directors

It’s election season and the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce announces six seats are open for this year’s incoming Board of Directors. Each year in November, the Oconee County Chamber selects up to six seats, therefore as a membership-based organization, the Chamber needs members’ input on its leadership. A Board of Directors governs the Chamber and each year an election is held to determine the candidates to serve three-year terms. Each of the candidates was vetted from a Nominating Subcommittee from the Chamber’s current Board. All of the following candidates display a level of expertise, skills, and dedication that align with the Chamber’s mission statement, “To be the unified voice of business to promote growth and improvement in the economy, the community and the quality of life in Oconee County.” Ballots were emailed to all members of the Oconee County Chamber, which asks them to take 3-5 minutes to review the candidates listed on the ballot and select your top six choices. This year, two incumbents and an additional four open seats are up for election.
