OC Emergency Response Team seeks Volunteers

The Oconee County emergency response team seeks volunteers. Community assistance is needed in Oconee County’s “CERT” program, which focuses on neighbors helping neighbors during disasters. Its mission is to create awareness, to educate, and to equip residents what to do before, during and after a disaster. “CERT” looks to pick up momentum by recruiting more volunteers. A training course takes place July 25-27. The course is free. For more information, contact Oconee County Emergency Services at 864-638-4200.
