OC Library looking to fill Vacancy

The Oconee County Public Library is looking for a person interested in becoming a member of its Board of Trustees. Oconee County Public Library Branch Services Librarian Blair Hinson gives details. “We are a county agency, so we are an agency of the Government of Oconee County, but we also have a nine member Board of Trustees that governs the library as well. We are currently one short. A person who might be interested, if you just go to our website there is a link there that will take you to the county website where there is an application. It also gives you a little bit more information about what it takes to serve on a board or commission.
