OC Republican Party officially opens Headquarters

Following a brief hiatus after the Primary Elections in June, the Oconee County Republican Party cut the ribbon and officially opened its campaign headquarters in downtown Seneca Thursday. A large crowd gathered for the event, explains Oconee County Republican Party Chairman Bob Skipp. “We were very pleased with the turnout, it was great to have Congressman Jeff Duncan here and he said some very inspiring words. I have found that this election has caused greater turnout of people, people more interested in politics and the future of this country. I was very nervous about how many people would show up, so, it was very gratifying. We have put a lot of effort into this building and to have this many people show up, hang around, and talk to Congressman Duncan, is very gratifying to me.” The Oconee County Republican Party is gearing up for the November General Elections and Skipp gives the hours for the headquarters at 116 North Townville Street in Seneca. “Starting in September we will be open from 11am to 1pm Monday and Wednesday and on Thursday night from 6-8pm during Jazz on the Alley. In October, we are going to open much more frequently and we will have that schedule out by the end of the month.” To learn more about the Oconee County Republican Party visit their website at www.oconeerepublicans.com.
