OC Sheriff announces graduation of Dubose from Basic Detention

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces the graduation of Kimberly Dubose from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy from the Basic Detention Program. Dubose is the seventh graduate from the Basic Detention Program since Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw was sworn into office on Jan. 1, 2013. Dubose was part of the Session 345 graduating class, which consisted of 41 graduates in ceremonies that were held on Nov. 14. Dubose is a 2009 graduate of Walhalla High School and holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tri-County Technical College. Before being hired by the Sheriff’s Office in April of 2014, she was an employee of Ingles’ in West Union. The other six graduates of the Basic Detention Program since Mike Crenshaw became Sheriff are Shadae Cobb, Robert Kirby, Zachary Covington, Tom Long, Jr., Michael Smith, and William Capps.
