OC Sheriff’s Deputies arrests TR Man on Multiple Charges

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Travelers Rest man Tuesday on multiple charges during routine road patrol and enforcement operations. According to the incident report, a deputy noticed a vehicle parked in multiple parking spaces at Fall Creek Boat Landing around 10pm. After making contact with the man, the deputy noticed trash had been spread out of each door, as well as an open container of beer. The man’s truck had a sign that said Greenville County School District on the side. After being asked by the deputy, the subject said that he worked there. The deputy then placed the subject, 23-year-old Joshua Paul Dockery under arrest on charges of public disorderly conduct, open container, and littering. Oconee County dispatch also ran the tag on the truck and the deputy was notified that it came back stolen out of Greenville County. Dockery told the deputy that he got the vehicle from a friend. Dockery was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center and is being held on a temporary custody order on the charge of possession of a stolen vehicle. Deputies will be seeking a warrant today on that charge.
