OC Toys For Tots Toy Run this Saturday

The Toys for Tots Toy Run in Oconee County is this Saturday, Oct. 25. The event begins at Sertoma Field in Walhalla and concludes on Main Street in Seneca. Those who would like to participate are asked to meet at Sertoma Field at noon with the ride beginning at 1pm. The event will take place rain or shine. The only requirement to participate will be to bring a new, unwrapped book, game or toy. Please note that for health reasons stuffed animals will not be accepted this year. For those who would like to donate but not participate, there will be Marines at both ends of the run to accept gifts. All types of vehicles, from bikes to street rods to jeeps can ride and there will be a law enforcement escort.
