OCFS and United Way Partnering to Give Local Students Holiday Meals

Oconee First Steps, in partnership with the United Way of Oconee, is addressing the issue of food insecurity among public school children in Oconee. They will provide lunch for children who are home during the Christmas holiday. The lunch service will be available from Monday to Thursday, December 18-21, at the Walhalla Library, Seneca’s Our Daily Bread, and the Westminster Recreation Department. The service time for all locations is 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. On Thursday, December 21, a special holiday meal will be provided for children to take home.
