On the agenda, among several items, including an executive session, is the first and final reading of a resolution declaring Oconee County a sanctuary for life, which urges the county’s residents to “promote and defend the inalienable right to life and the inherent dignity of all human beings, born and pre-born, from fertilization to natural death.”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in person attendance by the general public is limited to 34 people, including council members. You can watch the meeting live on the county’s You Tube Channel, “Your Oconee”.
