Oconee County Parks, Recreation & Tourism Extends Park Closures

In order to continue efforts to protect the health and well-being of both citizens and staff, Oconee County Parks, Recreation & Tourism will extend closures of park campgrounds and day use areas until further notice.

 Chau Ram, High Falls and South Cove County Parks campgrounds will continue to be closed until further notice. All camping reservations are being cancelled with full refunds through May 31. That date is subject to change, as needed.

 South Cove Boat Ramp will remain open 7am-8pm for boat launch traffic only. No other entry will be allowed into the parks. High Falls Boat Ramp will remain closed until further notice. Anyone accessing the lake(s) should practice social distancing with a minimum of 6 ft. distance from others.

 Boat Ramps on Lake Hartwell managed by Oconee County will remain open to boat launch traffic only. Playgrounds and restrooms will remain closed until further notice.

 All buildings, restrooms and day use areas will be closed to the public until further notice.

 All park programs are postponed until further notice.

 All county park buildings and shelter rentals will be cancelled with a full refund until May 31st.

 The Oconee History Museum will be closed until further notice.
