Oconee County Sheriff’s Office And Crimestoppers Seeking The Public’s Help In Larceny Investigation

(Seneca, SC)——The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in its investigation into the theft of a pickup truck and a Hustler zero-turn lawnmower.

The Sheriff’s Office is also seeking the public’s help in identifying any suspects in relation to the investigation.

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary on July 30th at an address on Dare Drive in Seneca.  Upon arrival at the scene, deputies discovered that items had been stolen, which included a champagne in color 1999 Toyota Tacoma (South Carolina license plate #DIJ917) and a Huster zero-turn Fast Track riding lawnmower.

Based upon information that has been gathered as a result of the investigation, the stolen truck was seen in the Walhalla area with a white male in his thirties and a thin white female with blond pigtails both inside the truck.

An anonymous cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for any tip that leads to an arrest in this case.  Plus, an additional private reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for recovery of the truck with positive identification and arrests of suspects in this case.
