Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Anderson Man on Fugitive from Justice Charge

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Anderson man over the weekend and has charged him with being a Fugitive from Justice.

29 year old Justin Cole Turner of Victor Circle was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 4:15 am Saturday.

According to the arrest warrant obtained by a deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division, Turner is accused of being a fugitive from justice in that he did willfully and unlawfully flee from the state of Georgia to avoid prosecution on one count of Family Battery and two counts each of Battery and Cruelty to Children – 2nd Degree.

A hold has been placed on Turner by the Rabun County (GA) Sheriff’s Office. At this time, Turner remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center.
