Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Easley Man on Charges Related to Two Separate Investigations

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Easley man and booked him into the Oconee County Detention Center Wednesday on charges related to two separate investigations.

24 year old Cody Kyle Moore of Highway 81 north was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 1:48am this morning. Moore has been charged with one count each of Grand Larceny, Armed Robbery while Armed with a Deadly Weapon, Petit Larceny and Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime.

Moore was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center after being transferred from the Anderson County Detention Center. At this time, Moore remains in custody at the Detention Center on a combined $87,205.00 surety bond.

The Grand Larceny charge against Moore stems from an incident that occurred during the early morning hours of August 2nd, 2020 on Durham Brown Road near Seneca in which Moore was charged with stealing a beige 2009 Pontiac G6 automobile, which was valued at $3,000.00.

The charges of Armed Robbery, Petit Larceny and Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime are related to an incident that occurred during the early morning hours of August 3rd of last year in which Moore is accused of producing a firearm and stealing a cellphone from a victim while possessing the weapon. The incident occurred at the Parkway Campers location on Highway 11 near Westminster.
