Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Seneca Man on Multiple Charges Related to Seneca Area Business Burglary

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Seneca man yesterday on multiple charges related to a burglary over the summer at a Seneca area Dollar General.

18 year old Aundarius Rickshawn Lowery of Skyland Drive was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 12:33pm and has been served with arrest warrants charging him with one count each of Second Degree Burglary, Petit Larceny and Malicious Injury to Property.

Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to the Dollar General location on Friendship Road during the morning hours of August 6th of this year after an employee discovered the front door to the business was damaged.

The case was turned over the Criminal Investigations Division and evidence was gathered in the case. A review of the evidence indicated that multiple individuals were seen inside the store after the break-in earlier that morning and items were stolen from the store.

Based upon the evidence that was gathered during the case, an investigator obtained arrest warrants against Lowery as he is accused of damaging the front door of the business, whereupon he entered into the business without consent of the owners and committed a crime by stealing cigarettes and a case of soft drinks.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation. Lowery was released yesterday from the Oconee County Detention Center on his own recognizance after receiving a combined $24,250.00 personal recognizance bond.
