Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Townville Man on First Degree Burglary Charge

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Townville man yesterday on multiple charges, including a charge of First Degree Burglary.

Michael Anthony Youngblood

29 year old Michael Anthony Youngblood was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 10:55pm Thursday. Youngblood has also been charged with one count of Malicious Injury to Property. At this time, Youngblood remains in jail.

Youngblood was taken into custody last night after a deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to an address on Dawn Cove Road near Seneca. The homeowner discovered Youngblood lying on a porch at the residence. Youngblood was placed under arrest and was charged with Breach of Peace.

The charges of First Degree Burglary and Malicious Injury against Youngblood were the result of an investigation in which Youngblood previously broke into the same residence where he was arrested last night.

According to arrest warrants, Youngblood broke into the residence at night sometime between August 8th and August 29th of this year. Youngblood is accused of breaking a window with a hammer and allowing his dog to urinate and defecate within the victim’s residence.
