Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Held Promotions Ceremony in April

In April, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office held a promotions ceremony to recognize the hard work and achievements of several officers.

Among those promoted were three detention officers, Amanda Davis, Alicia Snyder, and Lakeon Daniel, who were promoted to Sergeant, Corporal, and Master Detention Deputy respectively, all assigned to the Bravo Shift.

Additionally, Corporal Michael Ticknor, who also serves as a School Resource Officer, was promoted to Sergeant and will take on the role of Sex Offender Registrar.

Master Patrol Deputy David Scealf was also promoted to Sergeant and will now serve as a Financial Crime Investigator in the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
