Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Reference to Larceny Investigation

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in reference to an ongoing larceny investigation, including identifying a pick-up truck in reference to the larceny.

Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to an address on Wells Highway at Mormon Church Road on the morning of October 5th in regards to reports of a stolen utility trailer.

The trailer is a black 18 foot trailer that was taken from the business location sometime between Friday, October 2nd and the time the larceny was reported at 8:46am on Monday, October 5th. The trailer belonged to a concrete and construction business and was left at the location due to work going on in the area.

The trailer is valued at around $2,500. There were also concrete forms on the trailer that are valued at around $500. A white pickup truck was observed on surveillance cameras that the Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify in relation to the theft.
