Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Help in Regards to Walmart Shoplifting Investigation

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in regards to a shoplifting investigation based on an incident that occurred Friday morning at the Seneca Walmart location.

The Sheriff’s Office is also seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual in relation to the case.

A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to the store location on Sandifer Boulevard in regards to reports of a shoplifting that occurred around 6:45 am Friday morning. A store employee told the deputy that two white males drove up to the garden section of the store in a white Ford F-150 pickup with a black hood and a tool box in the bed of the truck.

The truck pulled up next to the kayaks which were on the outside of the garden entrance, whereupon both individuals got out of the truck and each proceeded to place a kayak in the back of the truck.

The combined value of the two kayaks’ is approximately $347.68.
