Oconee Home Builders present Home and Remodel Show

The Oconee Home Builders Association presents their 11th annual Home and Remodel Show at the Shaver Recreation Complex in Seneca. The two-day event runs Friday from 1-6pm and Saturday from 9am to 6pm. Over 40 exhibitors are featured this year, explains Oconee Home Builders Association executive officer Russ Price. “We’ve got a little bit of everything; exterminators, landscapers, realtors, plumbing supplies, whirl-pool and hot tub dealers, grills, outdoor fireplaces, health foods, furniture and appliances. One company that does architectural salvage, they take old buildings apart and they save the lumber and whatnot out of them, so they can be reused. We have some banks coming. Solar innovation is coming along and we have some folks that will be here. We also have some window and siding companies as well. So we have quit a few vendors out here.” Price says this Home and Remodel Show is chance to show off what the county has to offer. “This is a way to show off what Oconee County has to offer, so we have all kind of things that will be here this weekend.” Demonstrations are also part of the two-day show. Admission is $5 for adults with children under 16-years of age admitted free.
