Oconee Outdoors Photo Contest Winners

The votes are in and the winners of the inaugural Oconee Outdoors Photo Contest have been announced by the Oconee Heritage Center, explains assistant curator Jennifer Moss. “First place went to Kristin Clardy for her photo “Rural Oconee”, second place went to Nia Johnson for her photo “On the River” and third place went to Kim Richardson for her photo “Fall Creek Mill in the Snow”.” Moss was thrilled that 28 photos were submitted in the first Oconee Outdoors Photo Contest. “This is our first annual Oconee Outdoors Photo Contest. With our ABCs of Oconee, we thought O is for Oconee Outdoors and we had a photo contest. We had 28 entries which varied from waterfall scenes to rivers to boating, all kinds of outdoor life in Oconee County.” To see all the photos submitted in the Oconee Heritage Center’s Oconee Outdoors Photo Contest visit their Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/OconeeHeritageCenter.
